Our Licensed estheticians should be educated on all skin types and conditions coupled with extensive training and techniques to develop the repertoire each client needs. At Elysian, our highly skilled and experienced estheticians maintain continuous education, which includes studies for all skin tones, skin conditions, chemicals and skin modalities and their functions, and new technologies in the advancement of skincare.
It’s important to ensure you can trust your esthetician to properly handle your concerns and improve the overall health of your skin. To fully accomplish this goal, services should be conducted in a room with the highest standards and proper sanitation protocols of hygiene to avoid any contamination. We are pleased to have received a perfect score of 100/100 from the North Carolina Board of Cosmetic Art Examiners in our annual inspections.
What are your skin concerns?
This might be the number one question to ask before any appointment. The facial you choose should be suited to your skin type and skin concerns. For sensitive skin, a calming facial can be a great option. For fine lines and wrinkles, a client could rotate between our Rezenerate combo of 3 facial, and microneedling facial. For dark spots or hyperpigmentation, we might recommend a light peel and build our way up to the VI Peel. Congested skin could benefit from the physical and chemical exfoliation of a Glownar Hydrosoline facial, Oxygen Deep Pore Cleansing Facial, Acne LED, and other chemical treatments. The options are endless. Our best recommendation? Consult with your esthetician to decide the best action plan to achieve your dream skin.
Are you in need of deep relaxation?
We will set the tone for your specialized facial at the beginning of the appointment. Some facials are inherently more relaxing than others. In certain cases, clients may prefer to chat during their facial, but to receive the full experience, we recommend a silent facial where clients relax so deeply, they fall asleep. During these facials, you will walk into a room with dim lighting, soft and soothing music, and relieving aromatherapy. You’ll find a comfortable spa wrap to put on before getting cozy underneath the blanket. At the end of an hour-long session of cleansing and treatment, we will transition you to a relaxing facial massage. These facial massages are not simply fluff; we deliver therapeutic massages that aid in blood circulation, the release of sinus pressure, and lymphatic drainage. Results and relaxation!
Would a back facial help?
Skin care treatments are not limited to the face. At Elysian, we offer body treatments that include cleansing, exfoliation, treatment, a mask, and massage with hot stones. For clients struggling with back acne, this treatment can be especially helpful to cleanse congested pores that are otherwise hard to reach and lighten hyperpigmentation from acne scars. Should you schedule multiple services at once?
Many clients prefer to book multiple spa services during the same appointment. However, this is not always possible. For example, when performed sequentially, a professional peel and brow lamination can cause burns to the skin. This can also be true for appointments booked on different days within a short timeframe. A hydrating facial performed 24 hours after a brow lamination and dye could jeopardize the integrity of the brows. Likewise, a facial involving intense massage could compromise a Botox or filler procedure a client had just days before. On the other hand, you can likely schedule a body hair removal appointment, such as a Brazilian wax, on the same day as a facial without any problems. If you have any doubts when scheduling an appointment, always check with your esthetician!
Elysian offers facials Tuesday-Friday from 10 AM – 6 PM. Currently, there is contemplation about opening for extended hours and/or days at this time. Please stay tuned. Clients can book a consultation or a specific facial through our booking service, Vagaro, or call for scheduling and inquiries.

Elise is a licensed Aesthetician, Microblading/PMU artist, and owner/CEO of Elysian Skin & Beauty Studio. Elise earned her Aesthetics certification from Central Carolina and is licensed in the state of North Carolina in Aesthetics Technologies. She is also certified in various facial and aesthetic modalities.
